OMDF:

Optical main distribution frame has the advantages of high-density and flexible distribution, enhanced management and protection of optical  fiber,  integrated management of  lots of outgoing optical cables placed in local end machine room, centralized network maintenance, lower maintenance  cost, higher maintenance standard and quality, and improved response speed to customers. Similar to the management mode of main distribution frame, it carries on the current habit of the maintenance personnel, i.e. vertical row being the l ine side and transverse row the equipment pigtail terminal.

Main features:
"Fool" route: In-frame patch cords can fulfill non-cross  patch  cord  route  in  the  frame, led in and spitted layer by layer in the same side. All the patch cords are in vertical direction seen from side other than one converse“S” route mode for easy maintenance, operation and management.
1. Line side at the front (vertical row) and equipment side at the back (transverse row);
2. Line side (vertical row): the front line side is 72-core unit box, installed with splice &distribution integrated module.Equipment side (transverse row): 96-core rotary distribution unit, using 6-core adapter bar;
3. In-frame patch cord can fulfill routing in the frame. The frame body has separate multi-layer fiber channels in which all the inter-frame patch cords fulfill routing after  combination, which can reduce channel pressure in the machine  room and facilitate dispatching management without entering into the fiber channel in "Fool"route: In-frame patch cords can fulfill the machine room;
4. The length of patch cord can be customized to reduce the redundancy and winding;
5. Test ports are reserved;
6. Partition management is performed for outdoor optical cable, pigtail, in-frame patch cord, inter-frame patch cord in the frame body, which is not only in compliance with the existing maintenance systems and practices, but also can realize non-cross patch cord route;
7. Provide whole course protection and ensure the patch cord bending radius is 40mm.
